With six podium finishes and two important victories under his belt, Pascal Ackerman (“Ackes”) started his second WorldTour season with confidence, leaving all top German sprinters in his dust to take the national title. This early victory spurred him on to secure nine more wins and gain a reputation as a new star sprinter. Pascal’s favourite food is the asparagus from his native Palatinate region in Germany.
