BORA roof terraces
In the summer months, BORA employees are particularly keen to spend their breaks on the roof terraces of our Raubling and Niederndorf offices, as both locations offer incredible views of the surrounding mountains. Our roof terraces are also a popular meeting place for cool drinks and stimulating conversation after work.
What’s special about our roof terraces
At BORA, we place great importance on promoting a healthy lifestyle and a balanced diet. This includes regular breaks in the fresh air, which is important for the health and performance of our employees.
The BORA roof terraces are therefore highly sought-after in good weather: as a retreat for moments of peace and quiet throughout the working day or as a meeting place for lunch with colleagues. Glass doors lead our employees from the “Hälzyba” canteen, where fresh salads are prepared daily, straight onto the rooftop terrace, which is equipped with plenty of seating options and bar tables.
Fresh air and fabulous views
Large glass sliding doors ensure the Tyrolean or Bavarian mountain vistas can still be enjoyed while cooking and relaxing indoors. In Niederndorf, for example, the local Hechenberg mountain is right on our doorstep – the site of the pilgrimage church “Maria Heimsuchung”. The surrounding Kaiser Mountains and Kaisertal nature reserve are true natural treasures, and are also largely visible from our Niederndorf roof terrace.
The ninth-storey roof terrace of our Raubling location provides breathtaking views of many surrounding peaks, including those of the Wendelstein, Breitenstein and Kranzhorn. This means employees can start plan their next weekend mountain hike while on their lunch break. On very clear days, staff in Raubling can almost see as far as Niederndorf – or at least up to the Zahmer Kaiser mountain chain.
